Your Right to Delete Your Data
At LimeFiber, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal information. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
How to Request Data Deletion
You can submit a data deletion request through any of the following methods:

Please include your full name, account number, and registered phone number to help us process your request quickly.
Opt-Out of WhatsApp Messages
If you wish to stop receiving WhatsApp messages from LimeFiber without deleting your account:
- Reply "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to any WhatsApp message from us
- Contact us via phone or email with your opt-out request
- Use the opt-out option provided in our WhatsApp messages
Once you opt out, we will immediately stop sending you marketing and promotional messages. You may still receive essential service notifications related to your active internet service.
What Gets Deleted
When you request account deletion, we will delete:
- Your personal contact information (name, email, phone number)
- WhatsApp conversation history and message content
- Marketing preferences and communication history
- Customer support interaction records
- Usage analytics and engagement data
Data Retention for Legitimate Purposes
In accordance with Kenyan law and regulatory requirements, certain information must be retained even after deletion requests:
We are required by law to retain:
- Financial records (billing history, payment transactions) for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes as required by the Kenya Revenue Authority
- Service usage logs and network records for 12 months as required by the Communications Authority of Kenya for regulatory compliance
- Fraud prevention and security records where there are pending investigations or legal proceedings
We retain the following for legitimate business purposes:
- Anonymized and aggregated data for network performance analysis and service improvement (this data cannot be linked back to you)
- Records necessary to resolve disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, or comply with court orders
Deletion Timeline
- Immediate: We will stop sending you WhatsApp messages and disable your account access within 24 hours
- 30 days: Most personal data including contact information and conversation history will be deleted from our active systems
- 90 days: Complete deletion from backup systems and data centers, except for legally required records
What Happens After Deletion
- You will lose access to your LimeFiber account and services
- All conversation history will be permanently removed
- This action cannot be reversed
- If you wish to use our services again, you will need to create a new account
